About Ophthall 2024
Ophthall 2024, the seventh edition of the exclusive Practice Development Conference for Ophthalmologists and Eye Hospital Managers in India, will be held at the JLN auditorium, AIMS Delhi from July 19 to July 21, 2024. This event is organized in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh State Ophthalmic Society, representing a significant partnership with the state Ophthalmic Association.
Despite the pressing need for Practice Development, it's noteworthy that this vital subject is not part of the curriculum in Medical Colleges. The moment an Ophthalmologist steps into practice, they transform into an entrepreneur and must shoulder multiple roles for which they are often unprepared. Ophthall 2024 aims to enlighten Ophthalmologists about the indispensable business skills necessary to operate a successful Ophthalmology Practice.
Effectively managing an ophthalmology practice is almost as intellectually challenging and intriguing as the practice of ophthalmology itself. This practical three-day event will serve as a knowledge-sharing platform for Ophthalmologists to acquire essential practice development skills from over 40 expert practice development specialists, including industry experts and experienced Ophthalmologists.
Ophthall 2024 will follow an unconference format, breaking away from traditional conference norms. Eighty percent of the conference sessions will consist of hands-on workshops, featuring four major workshops lasting three hours each. These sessions will comprehensively cover the practical aspects of challenges encountered by Ophthalmologists in their day-to-day practice. Additionally, there will be common sessions, panel discussions, fireside chats, and more.
While participating in Ophthall 2024 at the India Ophthalmology Expo in AIIMS from July 19 to July 21, 2024, you will also have the opportunity to engage in our partner events, India Ophthalmology Expo and where you can procure equipment and consumables at specially negotiated prices for your Eye Hospital.
Ophthall 2024 aims to establish networking opportunities for mentorship, investment, partnership, and guidance to effectively manage an Ophthalmology Practice for all attendees.
